This story is how Diamondpaw turned into Diamondheart, later becoming the fierce noble leader.It only goes up to her victory, sad but true.It also tells about her love triangle and how each cat came to be.

[LakeClan Territory]

Overall Territory and Camp
The territory is mostly forest consisting of pine trees, oak trees, maple trees, and a few willow trees.A stream surrounds the territory on both sides.Mountains border the far end of the territory, making that area bitter cold in Leafbare.The other end is bordered by the lake, which is often where the cats of the clan relax.

The camp is a dip in the ground with stone caves.The camp has two levels.The first level is for the warriors, apprentices, and leader.The second level has the nursery, elders' den, and medicine cat den.The meeting place is High Rock, which is a pile of boulders that reaches the second level.Moss and ivy decorate the camp.At the bottom of High rock is a spot where the fresh kill is placed.

Nesting
The nests consist of holes in the ground big enough for a queen and six kits to fit in to a muscular warrior, depending on what is needed.The holes are filled with six layers.The first layer is rocks.This is covered by moss.Then come the feathers and/or soft leaves.Everything is covered with moss once more.Then a few more feathers and/or soft leaves are added before the hole is covered with moss for the final time.Rocks are put into the corners of the moss to hold it down.

Training Place
The Clan Training place is close to the camp.It's awhile away from the mountains but is closer to there than the lake.This is a small clearing with hollowed logs on all four sides.It's actually big enough for ten apprentices and their mentors to train.This area is called Fox's Nook.At one point, badgers lived there so Foxstar led a few brave apprentices and warriors to chase them away, they came out victorious but at the loss of their leader.It is believed that the shouts of Foxstar can be heard on a half moon.
